As a caring professional with a passion for lifelong learning and growth, I am invested in helping others embrace all that life has to offer and teaching them to find meaning and growth in their own lives. Life can be so complicated and painful to navigate at times, leaving us feeling lost or stuck. I believe you have what you need to be able to not only heal and recover, but to find yourself, move forward, and excel in life. I am here to help you do just that and would be honored to help you navigate to a space where life is joyful and has meaning.
I have gained extensive experience helping people heal and live better lives for over 15 years. Helping people to heal from past trauma is one area of specialty that I have really helped people to transform their lives. Becoming a level II Certified Clinical Trauma Professional with additional training and experience in addiction and relationship issues has propelled my therapeutic skills to a much higher level. I use an integrative approach to help lessen symptoms, explore/challenge beliefs, and build your toolbelt of healthy coping.
I am passionate about whole person health…the body, the mind, and the spirit! I guide towards simple healthy changes as well as support through deeper conflicts that need more exploration. I am here to listen with curiosity, compassion, and acceptance. I have received feedback from clients that I am genuine, caring, and honest, as well as able to help people experience insight and positive changes.
I am skilled at helping people with most mental health needs, however; I am most helpful to people who have suffered from ongoing trauma and substance use. I believe that many of us who have grown up with traumatic experiences, family turmoil, harsh parenting, and unstable support figures tend to experience chronic stress, shame, low self-esteem, and urgency. With the right support, education, and practice, we can get to a place of growth, healing, and joy in your life.
I also have a background in learning theory, reinforcement, and behavior change in children with disruptive or maladaptive behavior struggles, or in children with Autism and/or ADHD. I can provide tools to help you and your child use healthy communication and regulation skills, leading to a sense of calm and safety in your home.
I look forward to connecting with you and working towards the life you imagine.
